The Talon

Camila Giraldez
Since this is Camila’s first year in The Talon, she is ecstatic about working with the other Features writers and Talonistas! Whenever talking about any pressing issue she has a very strong opinion about, she always feels the need to let out all of her frustrations and thoughts: something she plans to do when writing in The Talon. She especially wants to spread word about the very intense situation in one of her home countries: Venezuela. Cami believes writing is vital to society, as it can convey every thought and every idea in any language or form, and that’s why she enjoys writing so much. She loves writing short stories and poetry, and hopes her writing can inspire others to pick up a pen or a pencil and start writing too. Some of her other passions include film, dance, music, and reading. A few items off of Cami’s bucket list include winning an Oscar, becoming friends with Ryan Gosling, and having at least four dogs (preferably golden retrievers).
