Isabel Scroffa, or Isa, is a senior in high school who spends most of her free time doing one of two things: running (sometimes because she wants to, sometimes because she needs to clear her head) or reading (always because she wants to). Books are her favorite escape, but also her favorite way of making sense of the world, which is why she’s joining the Entertainment section of The Talon, to write about stories and the very real issues they connect to. When Isa isn’t buried in a novel, you might find her on the field hockey pitch, swinging a tennis racket, or convincing her friends that paddle counts as cardio. This is her first year in The Talon, and she’s excited to mix her love of reading, writing, and the world around her into something worth sharing.
