Yasmin Sassaki, a prized author—no, that's not true. Yet. Yasmin, a kind and quiet friend—no, that's not true, either. Then let's just start with Mimin, the nickname given to her by her parents when Yasmin was too complicated for a 3-year-old girl to pronounce. It is what her siblings call her when they want to play, and what her dog responds to when he's hungry. A newly formed junior, with a love-hate relationship with math and a passion for writing, is more than excited to embark on her second-year journey as a POV writer for The Talon. She enjoys warm days spent in the sun, reading, playing volleyball, and watching the NFL with her family on Sundays. Especially when there's pizza!
