“Being the Middle School Secretary is about facing challenges and frustrations and dealing with all of them in a kind and bright way. The feeling of overcoming them is amazing. Daily, I help a lot of people and that is something I love to do!” ~ Heloisa Inoue, 2023.
When someone pictures the first day of school, they immediately think about the excitement to start the new year: making new friends, meeting new teachers, or joining new clubs or teams. No one is troubled so early on, right? Wrong. For Ms. Heloisa, the Middle School Secretary, the first day of school is full of students asking for passes, excuse forms, and help in finding their classes, all while providing vital support to teachers by helping them print documents, assigning substitute teachers, and organizing meetings, among others. Despite these tribulations Ms. Heloisa faces on her day-to-day, she is always found with a smile on her face. “The hardest part of my day is when multiple people are asking for multiple things”, and yet she prevails! Anytime you pass by the Middle School Office, you can see the chaos yourself!
What does she do outside of her school life? Ms. Heloisa is dedicated to using her free time to exercise in the gym and like many, spends time with her pets. She has a golden retriever named Toby, whom she adopted when he was only 1 year old who loves to go on long walks, cuddle, and play fetch. Surprisingly, Ms. Heloisa also has a pet rabbit, which loves to snuggle.
Her strong dedication to helping others and her passion for making a positive impact is evident. Ms. Heloisa’s current role as the Middle School Secretary is a testament to her remarkable ability to connect with people and serve effectively in her present position! There is no doubt she will continue to thrive!
