As a senior on the editorial board, this is João’s second and final year participating in The Talon. His intellectual interests revolve around Brazilian politics, financial markets, and history. This senior’s articles for The Talon consist of current political and economic turmoils affecting his country, such as a breakdown of Brazil’s elections or an article where he declared his vote to Brazil’s authoritarian right-wing president. In his last year at Graded, João plans on spending time with his friends and teachers, enjoying every moment possible, while still dedicating a fair amount of time to successfully obtain his IB diploma. You can expect João to write plenty this year, and nothing brings this senior more happiness than being asked to share his views.
