The Talon

Anita Benito
This is Anita’s second year as a Talon writer. Despite Anita having attended Graded for seven years, she is very shy around almost everybody. On average, Anita speaks about thirty words throughout the school day, which, believe it or not, is an improvement from previous years. This is why she likes to use all of the energy she would have wasted talking, by writing or reading. Her favorite genres of books are Young Adult, historical fiction (not to be confused with nonfiction books) and fantasy. During her free time, Anita likes to play the cello, ukulele and occasionally the piano and harmonica. She also likes practicing aerial silks (even though she’s afraid of heights) and playing tennis with her family. Anita is very excited to write for the Features section of The Talon and hopes that people will have as much fun reading her articles as she does writing them.
