Today Graded hosted another installment of the Strings Festival, led by Guilherme Faria as it has been for the past ten years. The Festival provides an opportunity for the young and talented musicians of Graded’s orchestra to join with professional musicians for an entire day and do what they all love to do, play music.

This year the Festival featured a collaboration with the Middle School Digital Video class that will coincide with the general theme of music from popular culture, encompassing everything from video-game music to soundtracks from films. There is an evening concert today, October 21, at Graded’s Black Box theater beginning at 19:30.
