After spending some time at an international school like Graded, one can’t help but be exposed to various languages. What you might not know is that by being exposed to different languages you are also being exposed to different ways of thinking. It is widely agreed that language may in fact directly affect a person’s thinking.

A surprising example arises from color perception. If thinking is affected then why wouldn’t perception be, too? Muyueh Lee puts this into perspective by showing how English and Chinese have different ways to describe color.
